Default gauges not lighting

i have a 2000 S10 blazer and the lights behind my gauges don't light up, but the service engine light, the gear indicator, and my odometer lit up. But the tach, speedometer, gas, oil, volt are not lighting up. also i have the electronic compass temp up on the ceiling and that didnt light up either. checked fuses and they are good. so any sugestion?

yeah i have two one in the cab that i need to open my door to get to, and one under the hood.

it could be your dimmer switch is off or not working right.

this is just a suggestion but you could check the relays and if everything is good then I'd start running some continuity tests or checking one of the several interior lamp control modules that runs that group of lamps. I personally have never seen one go out but stranger things have happened. hope it helps. ~stormy

You have an open in the circuit board behind the gauges...only way to fix that is to replace the board.
