Default 3.23 rear end. Limited slip?

Hello.
I’ve got a 2006 GMC Sierra reg cab long bed 2wd 4.8 with the 3.23 rear end. Bought this truck back in the summer and have had it on the road for almost a month now. I can’t tell if the rear end is an open diff, since it one wheel peels when on wet grass, or if the diff is just old or worn out (I’ve heard of other guys losing their ability to spin both tires). RPO code is GU5. Does anyone know if I can fix the rear end on my truck (I haven’t changed the oil in it yet), and/or if I can find a limited slip in the 3.23 ratio?
Thanks

LP's diff's do wear out. Clutch pack goes bad. If you cant find a 3.23.ratio you could go up to 3.08 or down to 3.73 gear ratio's.
