Default rear end trouble

i have a 2000 silverado 1500 4x4 with a 5.3 v8 .... i keep replacing the rear end and its getting expensive ... i was told that some avalanche rear ends will work and they are built better . can anyone fill me in on the truth to this or if i have to keep cutting off my legs to drive my truck??????

Who is replacing the rear end? If it is not set correctly you will continue to have problems. Find a new mechanic!!

well the dealer says the year and style of this specific rear end is known to break that why i need to know if there is a way around putting the one in it calls for?!
