I have a 84 CJ-7 jeep. I the I-6 is getting tired and I am thinking of swapping in a sbc. Every one goes for the 350 but I am thinking 327? What are the pro's and cons of this engine? is it good for off road application? I think I will be running a sm 420 tranny and a np 208 X-fercase. I plan on keeping the same 4:10 gears. I do mostly muddin and trails no rock crawling.
