Default 350 Automatic Trans

Hi Have transmission question. The transmission case socket has two pins for torque lock up. where do the two wires go to ? is one pin have to go to ground? The is transmission 350 GMC early 1980's . Is it important to wire it to the brake switch?

wow i'm learning from the question. two pins could mean computer + and -, or could be two + and ground is case, dunno sorry. i see if you google it some people have articles. you could check your volts while running to answer your question maybe. and yes brake switch seems important. you maybe can test it if it "seems to work" by feeling hose pressure, or with a test drive (perfect lock / mileage issues aside). trans have fluid circuits more complex than electric ones (ie, by check ball) also.

here's an interesting warning for solenoid it says: BE SURE TO OBSERVE PROPER POLARITY, if using a car battery.
