Hello to all, this forum has helped me greatly in my 383 build ,but now I hit a wall. This is what I have and the issue. 78 vette, skip white 383 kit, 200cc runners 64cc combustion, -10 pistions. edelbrock 2101 performer intake dual plane, Holley sniper EFI, comp cam 12-423-8 extreme energy 224/230, 1.5 roller rockers, and hugger headers.
Idle is as expected a bit rough, In gear I get a engine vibration ( i can feel it in the steering wheel) like a misfire around 1300rpm but clears up above that then pulls awesome. I did the water mist on the pipes at idle and #8 definitely is running cooler then the rest. I adjusted rockers and check push rod height with no change. Advancing timing helps slightly.
Is this just normal for this build or an I missing something? Any input would be great.
