Default cam question

i'm building a 350 4 bolt smallblock, running an edelbrock rpm intake, 600 cfm 4 barrel and MSD distributor, plug wires and plugs, and headers; looking for opinions on a good cam that has a mild to rough idle, its going in a 5 speed vehicle so i don't have to worry about torque converters

Anything will work. That carb is kinda small. Must be a street car. Depends on weight and gearing. For a street car maybe .450-.485 lift and 280-284 (advertised) duration. 105 overlap.

I ran a trw tp112 284/453 in a chevelle 283 with 456 gears and a 4 speed. it had 327 heads and a 780 holley. It screamed from idle to 6000. Would work good with your combination.

maybe look into eldebrocks performer package, you have the carb and intake already and the cam would match that air fuel combo you already have
