I am building a 383 stroker out of my 350, its going in my 67 Camaro RS. The 350 has 11.5:1 Pistons in it and i want to run them still in the 383 stroker.
What is the best setup for what i have so far? I am just missing cam, intake manitfold, carb, distributor, flex plateand tranny (Want a 4 speed). So one told me to run different heads, what heads would i run? I know i have to run a higher octane gas then pump gas.

 

the only way you can use your 11.5 pistons with this set up is to use 400ci lenth rods, and with the 3.75 stroke. i need more info for the rest of your ?. a/c? street or strip? if street is it your DD?
