I plan on building me a 383 Stroker next month. My question is what is exactly a good transmission to use and what extra accessories I need for it to work. Is a 350 or 400 Turbo good or 700R4. I not exactly interested in racing but I would like power with a strong lope. I plan on using one of the Thumpr cams with Vortec Heads. I am not looking for anything pricey but I do not want cheap.
