I have a 400 sbc bored .40 over stock crank, H 616 CP flat top 4 valve relief pistons, 5.7 rods, s/r world product heads 67cc .029 gasket, looking for a good cam to help bleed off compression I figure I have close to 11 to 1 comp. running a manual trans like it to run on 91 to 93 octane pump gas wondering what cam would work best. I would appreciate any help

I have a 400 in my 92 C1500, built it 12 years ago or so, where'd the time go?. Don't remember much about the build anymore other than it is .030 over, flat tops using an Eagle rotating assembly, aluminum vortech heads, gm performance intake machined to take a 454 throttle body, used a high torque truck cam, don't remember which one, and shorty headers with true duels. Runs like a raped ape, and torque out the ***. Going on my third NV3500. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but your're gonna love it when it's done! Mine has over 120K on it now, still runs like it was new, and most of those miles were put on doing heavy towing, it's been retired from towing and now is just my fun truck.
