Default 400 turbo help PLEASE

ok a friend of mine had his 400 turbo rebuilt and then he bent the rod the linkage goes on so dumb me gets to fix it. well i took it apart and when i put it back together i forgot the put the stud that goes int the shift valve back in so it done nothing. needless to say i took it back apart and fixed it and it still wont do anything. any ideas. please

Wait a minute here.

I don't understand what you are talking about.

I would suggest that you make friends with the local transmission rebuilder - because chances are - by the time you are done - you are going to get to know the guy pretty well.

lol, okay so Chevy lover for life I think you might be a little harsh on some replies but I have to agree 100% with this one....make friends with the Tranny shop...

no i didnt need the tranny shops help or your useless comments. the front pump went out.
