I currently own a 88 Wagon with the Olds 307. It runs fine, and is currently my daily driver, but I have the opportunity to purchase a 454, and TH400 for cheap (Not sure if it runs yet) and it has me thinking about doing a swap. What kinds of things might be a hang up on this type of swap? I imagine I'll have to get a different/custom drive line, and of course wiring and plumbing, but what about motor mounts, and clearance for the transmission and linkage for the shifter?
I know its kind of hard to go "This is all the stuff" unless someone has done this specific swap before, but I'm just looking to get a better idea of what I might be up against.
