4l60e slips first gear under light and heavy acceleration
I have an 02 Silverado with 190k on it. My transmission finally blew the 3-4 clutches last week and I’m currently waiting on a rebuild kit. While I’m rebuilding it, it hit me that I couldn’t find a 1st clutch pack set. With that being said, where, exactly, is 1st gear and what would cause it to slip? 2nd gear is strong and when I had 3-4, it never skipped, only 1st did.
