Welcome to the forum. You need to enjoy and not worry. There's really nothing that can get weak with the oil pump. It's almost always a leak or wear downstream that cause a low oil pressure. The oil pressure sensor and gauge in the I/P cluster are not meant to be a precision instrument besides.

thanks im trying to enjoy i had a 05 k1500 with 5.3 75,000 miles but someone wanted it more then me and they stripped it dwn and sunk it in a local river, and the oil pressure was 40 at idle and about 50-60 pounds running dwn the road,so just worried a lil but as long as its staying at that im fine lol,i just got this truck so trying to get the kinks out of it now i notice like some noise from the front end like maybe a wheel bearing r tierod r strut not for sure yet but it makes the noise when ya hit holes,r turning the wheels, hitting the brakes so as soon as we dry out im gonna jack it up and check it out lol

Jeez, that's some tough neighborhood. Luckily we don't hear things like that in my neck of woods. No doubt the abundance of firearms may have something to do with it. We just need to learn to drive better in snow and ice.
