Hello all from chattanooga

I seem to be getting conflicting results when searching the site and google. I’m currently rebuilding a 350 GM Mexican crate motor. I installed a .450/.450 flat tappet cam, 7.794 pushrods, hydraulic lifters. My question is concerning the rocker arms. I really want some 1.6:1 rockers but the stamped ones I seem to find are not self-aligning. Are guide plates required for roller rockers? Can I even run roller rockers with my current setup? Excuse my ignorance but this is my first motor build and I’m fairly new at it. I can do my best to give you any other info that’s needed to solve this.
