Hi, I've got a 1988 Mazda RX-7 that i put a 1999 5.7 vortec into. The engine is from a suburban, and i have the complete harness and fuse box. Ive wired everything based off this website:

anyways, the engine will not start. I tried spraying some ether into the tb, and it backfires so i know theres spark. It has begun to start a handful of times just off starting fluid. But it wont stay running or most of the time even start. I have spark, fuel, and compression. The ecu doesnt have the anti theft plug so i dont think i have to flash the ecu. Im thinking maybe i dont have enough fuel pressure but does anyone else have any ideas? Any help at all would be very much obliged.
just incase anyone wants to see the car so far, here it is:
