I have an air boat with a 8.2l 502 carb on it. Well I had a little trouble (wrist pin came loose and tore up the cylinder wall). I also have a 8.1l 496 avilable to me. It is approx 02'-04' which would be efi. Question is can I convert the 496 to carb and if so what do I need to do. Will the 502 intake work? Just wanted some input before I start ripping things apart. Thanks for the help.

 

I'm sure someone knows better than me, but I think you would need to change the intake.
