Hello guys,
I have a 700r4 trans with the small bolt pattern torque converter (10 3\4" 153 tooth flexplate). I have flex plates and starters that are all for the larger torque converter (11.5" bolt pattern 168 tooth). Can I swap in the bigger torque converter?

 

pretty sure you can but you dont want to use a used TC as it can hold metal shavings from the old trans and it can contaminate your trans
