good afternoon. I have a chevy 350 using a q-jet (stock rebuilt few months ago) with a 400 turbo trans and a few days ago i was letting her warm up. I was about to go do some things.
As soon as it hits operating temp the idle just drops. Then starts to have a slight shake.
I up the idle screw so it idles decent when in park but when I put it in gear it starts to shake.
Few weeks ago my muffler rotted off about 2.5 feet from the cat converter.
Today I have tried adjusting the air/fuel screws
Check the sparkplugs. Checked the timing.
added some fluids
Retorqued the carb bolts.
uped the idle screw.
Still shaking in gear.
