hi im working on my 81 camaro alot lately and have run into some difficulties. it is a t-top 4 speed car berlinetta with a 305. i dont have keys for it, long story.. while struggling to get it moved off the street without any keys, i severed the metal rod that plunges down when the key is turned. i have to take the whole column out and weld it together taken the four bolts on its underside of the dash out already, but cant figure out how to disconnect the steeering shaft from the power steering box under the hood so i can pull it out of the car.. i was hoping to encounter someone who can describe how to do this to me help is much appreciated
