trying to get info on the 8100 big block. does the heads have the same design as the ls1

Welcome th the Chevy Forums.

The LS1 was primarily designed to give high-output power specifically to a special overall smaller engine size in order to accommodate the leaner dimensions of the the Corvette body style.

Since the 8100 wasn't manufactured with saving space as a major priority, it's highly unlikely many of it's parts are going to bolt up to a LS1.
