Default 87 2.8 tbi to 3.4

I had a guy switch my 2.8 throttle body to a 93 3.4 out of a Camaro. It was rebuilt rebuilt with all gaskets and internals from Portland. After the guy switched it, took him awhile, he said it ran for six miles and got back home and it wouldn't start. It's been sitting for about a year now since I got it back. I could dump fuel into it and it starts and I can hook a nine volt up to the injectors and it starts. It's not getting the voltage to the injectors through the connectors. Mean if you noticed about a month ago that the distributor was loose. I'm going back and looking at it this weekend and seeing if there was a possible ground hooked up to the distributor. The computer is good as I took it out and put it in a next-door neighbors S10 pickup and his started. He took his and put it into mine and it still won't start. Any advice at all would really be helpful. If I can't figure it out I will just stick a carburetor on it. But I'd really like it to work the way it is. It ran before the engine swap. Hopefully this is enough information for somebody to give me a idea. Thank you in advance!
