Default 87 tbi k10 extended cranking

this didn't start bothering me til lately, in the past 6 months just for general maintence the truck has had, new MSD coil, wires, running cr45ts plugs, timing advanced 4 degrees, premium fuel, cap and rotor have less than 10k on them, fuel filter has been done, but the truck cranks for 6 to 7 seconds before starting most of the time, some times it will spit and sputter the whole time you crank but not enough to stay running, starts better if you hold your foot on the throttle a bit, andit stumbles the whole time it idles but has perfectly smooth acceleration whlie running, i have converted this to a TBI unit with the round style plug from the 92' and newer trucks. any help i'm lost on this one

check, clean replace if needed the egr valve and idle air control valve. also pcv valve. if you can, check fuel pressure while truck is running, and also check it right when you turn key on without starting it.
