'89 Suburban rough idle and stalls
I have an '89 2500 4WD Suburban with a 350. With only 54,XXX original miles, even though the clearcoat is peeling, you will all drool over her.
I drive the truck every day during the winter and once every 3-6 weeks in the warmer months.
I ran the tank very low a few weeks ago and she stalled out right in front of the gas station. She restarted and sputtered to the pump. I filled her halfway and ever since she starts easy but idles very rough until she stalls. if I double foot her and work the accelerator I can keep her from stalling. This morning I changed the fuel filter and added some Lucas fuel treatment. She idles and runs a little better but is still rough and will stall if I let her. She runs well and smooth at speed.
Please help! What should I look at next?

So I pulled codes for it today and got code 32 EGR valve and code 33 MAF (book said this could also be caused by a miss fire or unstable idle - which I have) so should I spend the $140 on a new EGR or check something else first?
