Default Running rough/rough idle

I have an 07 suburban and have had problems with the idle and running rough under acceleration. Traction control turns off and on, during the really rough idle, no engine light. Any suggestions?

Same thing happened 6 months ago and dealer said it was sprak plugs and fuel injection needed to be cleaned, $500 later and it's doing it again. Can't afford to take to dealer, unemployed. Also, Cleaned throttle body and mass air flow sensor.

You might have to do it again or do the same thing yourself. Also sounds like you might be buying your fuel from a cheap gas station.

Alot of cheaper gas grades uses additives that premium gas doesnt. If they got a bad tank of gas it might help to put some good stuff through.

Techron is much better at doing this and quicker and isn't that expensive.

If i only knew about that in 2004 when we went to disney and got a bad tank of fuel. It took me 3 tanks of premium and a new fuel filter after the first premium to get it running back to normal. It ran like a freeking dog.

I had the exact same problem: 2007 suburban 5.3. It would idle really rough and then my dash would go crazy with the autotrac sensors and stabilitrac sensors. While these sensors were going nuts the car would shift really really hard. I took it to several mechanics and the dealership twice. No one could figure it out.

After trying several things I finally changed the plugs AND the wires with top end products and it went away.

good luck don’t go cheap on plugs and wires.
