90 chevy 4x4 clutch
Hello all, I've got a 1990 Chevy K1500 V8 5 speed truck. Recent had to put an engine in (10k ago) and everything has been fine tell recently. When I go to press the clutch pedal it "pops" or feels like its binding. Also recently developed a squeal about the same sound as the squealers on brake pads when I'm sitting at a stop light in neutral. If I put just the slightest amount of pressure on the clutch pedal the squeal will stop. Also when I'm driving the truck sometimes the clutch pedal is really stiff.. like driving a old grain truck stiff, other times it is not. The throw out bearing was replaced when I put the newer engine in.. replaced the fluid in the transmission 5k ago with amsoil syncromesh (sp) fluid. Idk if any of this really should matter just curious if anyone else has had an issue like this before. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
