Default 94 350 timing chain

Hey all,

Does anyone know if the 94 350 is an interference engine?

I think my chain has broken, and the engine won't turn over. I guess at 186,000 miles, it was bound to happen.

Anyone have any horror stories on changing this thing out, or recomended chain and sprocket suppliers?

All Chevy V8's are what You're calling an interference engine. That neans that when You break yhe timing chain, The Valves will hit the pistons.
