I have a 98 K1500. Just replaced the motor in it. Now the motor will do nothing. When you turn the key to acc the "P" illuminates and the brake lights are on. When you turn the key to the on position the gear indicator goes out and won't start and the brake lights are still on. Also the gear shifter will go into gear without touching the brake. Went through the fuses and even replaced the neutral safety switch on the transmission. I'm stumped!!!
