i have a 98 cav w/ 2.2 automatic abs, i put a new alternator and battery in it in june, this week the same set of symtoms started.... first battery light, then abs light then airbag, then the car dies, then dead battery..... jump or charge it and its good for a short peoriod of time.... is there something i'm missing? is there a relary or sensor after the battery? like a gen sensor or something? CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?

Make sure your connections on the battery are clean and tight, but it is probably just a short somewhere draining the battery. Make sure the wires on the alt are all in the right spot, and have it checked, sometimes new parts are bad.
