Not sure if this is the proper place to post this. Need a rear end for my suburban. It has a 8.5, 3.73, 10 bolt in it now. Locked up. Buddy has a 3.73 geared 4x4 rear axle with disc brakes that uses leaf springs as well. After further research his axle seems to be the newer 8.6 10 bolt. Think I will have any issues with the swap? The disc brakes are obviously appealing and for $100 cant beat the price. Just want some input from the fellow chevy experts. Thanks.
