Default AC question

Hi Guys,

Just wondering is there a way to remove the compressor in a 99 Suburban, and still be able to run the truck? I also mean without the bypass pully. It's my only vehicle, and to top it off I am out work and need the burban running so I can find work. Even if that means going around without an ac. Can I get a smaller belt? I am pretty much stuck

1999 Chevrolet Suburban K1500 5.7 4x4

Thanks,
Tiffinee

why do you need to take it out? my ac. stoped working a while ago so i justy unpluged it. the only reason i would take it out is if the bearing were seased.
