Exclamation Adapting an 86 Winnebago 454 to a 79 Chevy LT Dually 454

Just looking for general input here guys. I bought the engine and transmission out of an 1986 Winnebago. It's a 454 GVW 14,000. I want to pull the 454 engine and tranny out of my 79 Chevy LT Dually and drop the Winndebago engine and tranny in.

Problems that I can see are involving the length of the driveshaft in the RV. I'm really interested in the tranny of the RV. The engine in the LT runs OK but the tranny in mine doesn't have overdrive and (naturally) is not as beefy as the one in the RV.

What kind of problems do you think that I am going to encounter when I pull the bed on the dually and do a C-section on the RV to get at the engine and tranny?
