Default Advice needed?

Dealing with-95 Yukon 350 TBI 4x4

ave a 95 350 TBI in my drive(friend broke down here)
This is what I know: Battery & Starter was replaced, truck wouldn't start so he used
starting fluid to attempt to start it and it would run off of starting fluid.. He assumed the
fuel lines were frozen? He used starting fluid again, etc and it backfired and melted the
injector plugs and wiring..But it's in my driveway still and now I'm stepping in and trying
to determine what to do to correct this.. Now it has spark but won't fire. It doesn't spray
any fuel from the injectors as it's cranking and won't fire now off a little starting fluid.
What did this guy mess up? What are some other ideas? I'm wanting to know if he
should replace the injector plugs and wiring and possibly the injectors or do yiou think
there's another option? Do the injectors run off a fuse? etc.. Thanks for your time in
advance!

Update: Injectors have power going to them(even though the wiring and connectors are partially melted). Fuel pump isn't kicking on. Have spark but still no start on starting fluid. No start or no attempt.. Cranking over as if I have disconnected the coil wire, took a couple plugs out and they're sparking.
