Default Air conditioning/vacuum problem?!

I accelerate and my a/c goes away. What could it be?? Vacuum leak??

Update: It was a vacuum leak. I changed all the vacuum hoses and the a/c now works perfectly and the engine runs smooth. Hope this helps people in the future!

I'm having the same problem with my 2500 Express van. A/C blows cold when idle and goes away when i throttle. How do i change all of the vacuum hoses??? any help is greatly appreciated

Go to the dealer and ask for a vacuum source hose. Take off your doghouse and find the matching hose. Replace it. If it's not that then it could be the check-valve or sphere-shaped reservoir.

there is a vacuum hose in the passenger footwell that comes disconnected, near where the firewall meets the floor...closer to the doghouse, . pull up the floor vinyl and inspect
