ALDL port ~ check engine light doesn't flash
The check engine light goes on in my '89 Celebrity.
I connected A and B of the ALDL port with a paper clip, but the radiator fan comes on, and the check engine light doesn't flash.
Let me know your ideas and suggestions.

ALDL issue solved
The check engine light is now flashing, and the only change was to leave the door open.
Apparently the radiator fan going on is normal with AB connected.
The code is 13 for the O2 sensor or circuit, or a throttle position sensor that needs adjustment.
