Welcome to the forum!

Did you just change the bulbs or the lenses? If you changed the lenses did they come with thier own bulbs? or did the original ones fit in the new lenses. Any pics?

O I see, do the old bulbs fit in the new fixtures? I am just thinking your electrical system might not like the new bulbs or thier poor quality bulbs. But thats just my opinion.

they plugged in easy enough so i didn't suspect there would have been any problem. Could they be cheap bulbs?

thanks

Id be leaning in that direction , yes its highly possible. Try your old bulbs in the new fixtures and find out, if they fit.
