Default Anti Lock Braking System Motor

This morning my ABS light come on on my 04' Suburban.

When I kill the engine, I notice a motor sound below driver side area.

Take it to the Chevy house and with no inspection the service help claims it's a "ABS motor" gone bad.

We pull the fuse and that kills the motor.

Do any of you folks know about this issue?

Any help or experience is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken
