Bad oil leak - I need advice
2002 Chevy Silverado 1500

That machined surface isn't supposed to be exposed. The oil is leaking out like crazy from that area. Does anyone have an idea what is wrong? How much would it cost to get this fixed?
The truck starts up and runs great.
