Battery replacement creating havoc!!
I had the battery taken out of my 95 G20 van to have it charged, and after it was put back in, the van is not running well. The ABS light keeps coming on the the brakes are shuddering a little. The engine is performing erratically and seizing up a bit. After I drove it awhile yesterday, it went back to normal, but this morning it started all over again. It's like the transmission is acting weird. What is happening? Is the electrical system trying to reset the KAM info or what? I'm supposed to sell this van today!! Can anyone help me?
Well, I took the van to my mechanic to figure out why that ABS light was staying on and power was lost. They disconnected the battery and discovered that the Kragen guy had forgotten to reconnect the speed sensor, which was right next to the battery. Problem solved and it's back to normal and running well again!!
