Beretta hesitating at highway speeds

Beretta hesitating at highway speeds
I have a 95 beretta that runs a little rough while idling. It also has a hesitation and a little jerking at around 55-60 mph. The car starts fine but occasionally the first or second stop you make, the car will run very rough when idling down and hesitate badly when accelerating again, sometimes it will even die. But after that it runs great, besides the problem at 55-60 mph. It also seems like this goes on more during the hot weather but that could just be me being dumb. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

I have about 10 ideas what could be the matter. And i only read it 5 seconds ago. You'll have to do a better diagnosis first.
An engine needs 3 things to work properly.
-fuel
-air
-spark
So you'll have to check the fuel line (fuel tank to engine)
you'll also have to check the air line (air filter to engine)
and you'll have to heck the electric line (battery and alternator to engine).
So you have a lot of work ahead of you. Start by checking your spark plugs. Take a picture and show us how they look. They'll tell you a lot.
I could do a first "guess" but really... its about 1 chance out of 20 that I'll be right. My guess is that your air intake is insufficient.
