Default Best Shock Absorber Brands?

Hello,

I need to replace the shocks on my Monte Carlo, and I want a really smooth ride... Does anyone have any recommendations of some really good brands to check out? Also, I've heard that Sachs shocks are good, is this true?

Thanks

I've gotta agree with Old Dog wholeheartedly on this one, you've gotta be careful you don't wind up with something that doesn't give you a miserably stiff ride, and Monroe seems to be slightly better overall in general right now.

I would suggest either Monroes, which are decent or KYBs if you have a few extra $$$ to spend.
