Default Big Block Pistons

Hey all,
I 'stumbled' upon a set of pistons, rings, and pins. They are unused, still in the original packaging. I'd like some thoughts on the research I've done so far.

They are Venolia Forged Aluminum domed pistons stamped 427 and AL00A. My first thought is they are for a big block 427, but the box had 454 hand written on it. I did some research and, according to the interweb, they could be for either as Venolia commonly made custom pistons including racing pistons.

The specs are:
Bore: 4.307
Piston Pin: .990
Compression ring: 4.312x3/64
Wipe ring: 4.312x3/16
Oil ring: 4.312x1/16

Again, according to my research these could be for either a 454 or 427 both bored .060" over.
Are these good pistons? I know they are old but that is not necessarily bad. thoughts?
