Default Blower Motor Won't Shut Off

I have a 2001 Chevy Impala. Over the summer the car went nuts and we had to have the BCM replaced. Now I am having random issues with the lights (automatic function occassionally won't work) temperature gauge occassionally doesn't work and the newest issue and the one that is really bugging me, is the heater blower won't shut off unless you completely disconnect the battery.
I need to know what to do about that blower. How can I fix or disable it without disconnecting the battery? I can't get the car into the shop for another week due to their holiday schedule.
