Hello people
Im new to this site and was wondering if anyone can help me? I just bought a used 2000 silveroado 4x4 1500 in pretty good shape for the year but the break lines need to be replaced. I have no Idea what diameter of line I need. Can anyone help me please?

Hi Zestyman,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

Wagner and other brake brand vendors use to sell pre-bent brake lines by M/M/Y for many popular vehicles, at most large discount parts stores. But to be honest, it's been a long time since I tried to buy any.

In any event, you should be able to get straight lines and a bender at most large parts stores for DIY work. Generally the catalog shows the proper size and length of line you need.

If not, you will probably want to take a piece of the old brake like to the store with you to be sure.

Until you find a store which has what you're looking for, you'll probably want to call around, first.
