A/C

My a/c compressor is there and looks hooked up, but my ac doesnt turn on, neither does the heat. is there a way i can check the compressor?

when i turn the ac on, a little bit of hot air starts blowing out. the compressor doesn't engage. Where is the fuse for the compressor located?
