Cam sensor

Default Cam sensor

Have a 2006 2500 with 6.0. Having cam position sensor code Put it has power and I traced signal wire to pcm no breaks also has new sensor I can’t figure it out. Does anyone know what the problem could be

Check all the wires going to the sensor. Another problem could be a stretched/loose timing chain which could cause the sensor to send erratic signals. Not very likely, but a possibility.

I checked everything and it looks like to get the car started the guy that had the SUV first he said that it was something wrong with the cam sensor and I checked it out we checked all the wiring and it turned out that one mechanic went there and did something bad cut off all the cables from the ignition module and left the ground on That's why nothing would happen
