Hi all

I have a large forklift that has a chevy three wire alternator that has not been charging. I had it tested and it works as advertised. I put it back in and hooked up the the toppost to a switched wire. I left the idiot light hookup off. It still does not charge. Do both posts on top have to be hooked up for this to work?
