Default Chevy Utility Club 1.4 petrol sheer frustration from South Africa

We have had a problem with our 2013 Ute / Pick-up (only 38000 miles) for the past 2.5 yrs. Its been back and forth to the agents via GMSA. At anytime on starting hot or cold the vehicle just rough idles and its impossible to drive. After switching off and leaving the vehicle for say 15-30 minutes the vehicle starts and has corrected itself and everything is fine. This happens randomly and can occur monthly or multiple times throughout the month. To date, this has happened +- 35 times. When the vehicle is at the agents the fault is never evident and nothing shows up on the diagnostic test (current or history). They are at a loss without an error code! To date the agents / GMSA have replaced the following: vacuum canister, APS accelerator pedal sensor, oxygen sensor, and the engine coolant temperature sensor. In addition, they have cleaned and checked the throttle body. They suspected that the CAT was blocked and getting too hot so they removed the element material. The fault is still there – it would appear that we do not have the expertise in South Africa to fix it? By the way GM pulled out of South Africa last year, so that’s not helping things. GMSA are now represented by UNITRANS / ISUZU SA. Please is there Chevy enthusiasts out there that can advise us. Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards from SA. Mike
PS I believe all Chevy parts including engine came from Brazil and assembled in South Africa.
