2006 Silverado 2500HD with remote start system. Everything was working fine until about a week ago the chime started chiming constantly when I use my remote key FOB to unlock the doors and then I open the driver side door. The chiming stops when I close the door or insert the key into the ignition switch. There are no dash lights or messages during chiming. Also, when I exit the truck and press Lock on the key FOB, the doors lock as usual, but the front amber lights flash 2 or 3 times and then they stay on for a fairly long time (maybe a couple of minutes or more). Does anyone have a guess what might have happened to cause this behavior? Thanks!
