Default Conversion 2005 2500 HD 2WD 6.0 Gas Cab and Clip to 2005 2500 HD 4WD Desiel

2005 2500 Cab and Clip Change over. I'll try to keep this short as possible I have a 2005 HD 6.6 LS Duramax I bought new. I only have ever plowed and towed with it. It has 140K miles on it and it runs great. it's rusted bad everywhere, Rockers, wheel wells ect... I Bought a 2005 2500 HD 6.0 Vortex Gas 2-WD. Salvage, Flood, Low water Below Rockers, Texas truck it is in perfect shape 100K miles and runs and drives like new. it a plain work truck. BTW we are in SE Wisconsin. My goal is to raise the cab and chassis and change over to the 4-WD Duramax I have a good step by step handle on what goes into - (raising the cabs) I know the dash cluster will need to swap and the 4-WD module. I'm sure there will be some harness issues (hoping not too crazy) I know the whole job won't be easy... I'm Not worried about the Cab vehicle identification numbers numbers. (I have that part covered IE: Titles ect.. ) My questions are the Unknown's will I bump into!!?? Do you guys think? Tell me it's impossible and you are thinking I'M CRAZY. I have a lift and a fair amount of mechanical ability, I will greatly. appreciate advise or feedback, Even hands on help. I have never embarked on a project like this or even heard of it. Have you??? What I do know: parts and components will have to come over from the diesel 6.6, ECM, Dash Cluster
4-WD Module. There will be some harness issues, The 2-WD doesn't have power windows, seats, mirrors, rear view... etc... I really don't care about that. I do need to try to move the cruse control over,, I'm pretty sure that will mean changing some steering wheel parts.. If you are local or want to act as a knowledgeable consultant please let me know. I'm not afraid to pay for some help.. All the BEST Robert & Tru
